A few days ago, Google did a PR update. My tech blog managed to get a PR2 and so did JobForums. As of the PR update, JobForums had 599 backlinks and my tech blog managed to get 136. Amazingly, both got PR2. Here, I’d like to thank my readers. As a reward, if you own a blog or a website, you’re welcomed to leave a comment and I will be happy to share link love in my next post.

As a side note, for those who have not heard about TrustRank, check out the Wiki page for it. Apparently, while Yahoo! has patented the TrustRank algorithm, Google has registered a trademark for “TrustRank". Looks like there’ll be a show coming up soon. So, new things might come this way for determining the importance trustfulness of your website, including domain age, domain registration period, type of links and so on.
