It’s way past bedtime, but I don’t feel like sleeping yet. Tomorrow Today is Thursday, that means 2 more days and the next installment of the Bleach manga will come out, although I think it’s still on Hitsugaya’s past. 3 more days to my girlfriend’s return from China. God, I miss her so much. In any case, I decided to do a long-overdue review of a site - Zlio.com
It seems that the world we live in today is so engrossed in its boring routines that the only motivational factor left for us is money. Money see, money do. You have PTCs targeting millions of members, some a scam, some not. These kind of MLM stuff evolved pretty much in recent months. They had 10 levels of referral commission, then the good ones had only 1 level. From paid-to-view advertising, they moved on to social networking sites, like Yuwie and Photrade. Maybe they don’t seem too much of a direct link to advertisers or companies, so here’s a more direct one - Zlio.

Basically they have a few hundred merchants with products to sell and you pick a few products to put it in your shop. However you advertise your shop is up to you, but if there’s any purchase from your shop, the merchants will pay you a commission after 30 to 90 days. That’s a really wide range. Sounds like Google AdSense Referrals, doesn’t it?
So where’s MLM featured? Everyone knows that one shop won’t do anything to your income. Nothing stable anyway. So you’ve got referrals too. There’s 2 levels to it. 10% and 5% respectively. Sounds funky? Good for you then!
Now, the bad thing about the site is that it doesn’t really let you have much of a look at what they really have to offer you as long as you’re not registered. The About Zlio page has a link to their merchants’ page and their respective commissions for different products, which is unfortunately not accessible unless I registered, which I’m really feeling too lazy to do so now. Perhaps it’ll be a good idea to show these things to passers-by, before register, so that we get more incentive, and they get less dormant members (uninterested parties who register to look at the pages) anyway.
Anyway, according to the site, they also have another site called Net2one.com, but apparently it’s not up now. And I’m not even sure of how secure they are, having comments like…
<a href="<%=$this->Application->getUserParameter('SiteRoot')%>contact"><com:TTranslate>Contact</com:TTranslate></a>
lying around doesn’t seem like such a good idea to me. Apparently they’re not very standard-compliant either.
Well then. If you’re not as picky as I am, and not as geeky as I am, I’d say go for it. Anything’s worth a try. Do let me know if you strike rich. And share some profits. ![]()
